Are you new to patchwork and quilting? Do you have have lots of experience but want to expand your repertoire of techniques? Do you fancy spending a day working on a project at your own pace with qualified expert tuition? If the answer is “yes” to any of these questions, then you will love this one day workshop.
Patchwork is a versatile and fun way to relove fabrics you already have or be creative with gorgeous new printed patterns. Quilting involves layering fabrics with wadding and can be a lovely way to make patterns with stitches with or without patchwork. These two sewing techniques will be covered whilst incorporating a festive feel.
The workshop can be tailored to your taste by allowing you to choose between the seminole patchwork technique and snowflake or star quilting to make a table mat or stocking. If you don’t fancy that why not create a hexagon patchwork quilted wreath. Some of these are shown in the pictures. These are not staged, professional shots but real creations and a realistic depiction of what you will be able to achieve.
Treat yourself to a bit of pre Christmas crafting time!
