'Log-Cabin Style' Patchwork Cushion CoverReturn to Workshops |
 About this Workshop: A chance to have a go at making a patchwork cushion cover, to give your sofa a bit of style. The patchwork blocks will be put together to create a 'log cabin' pattern. All materials will be included in the price but you are welcome to bring along some fabric if you wish to include a particular material. The workshop will be led by our lovely tutor Janet who has many years teaching experience. You can see photos of Janet's work on her blogs: www.aquiltersjournal.blogspot.com www.cityandguildspatchworkandquilting.blogspot.com There are five Running With Scissors machines available to use at the workshop, however you can bring your own if you wish. If you have a 'walking foot' for your sewing machine please bring it along with you, if you don't have one (or have never heard of one) then it's totally fine - you will still be able to make the cushion cover. Please note that if you bring your own machine it will be up to you to make sure that it is in good working order and is safe to use. Running with Scissors can not take responsibility for use of machines other than our own. Please indicate on your booking form / e-mail if you wish to use one of our machines or if you are bringing your own. |
