Have a look in your wardrobe ir take a trip round the charity shops and pick up all the t-shirts in matching or complimentary colours and prints and upcycle them into your own custom-designed knickers.
You will pick up plenty of sewing skills a long the way with Grace our expert tutor.
We’ll start with pattern drafting, including how to take your own measurements and translate them into a personalised pattern. Several styles will be discussed, and you can customise to your heart’s content.
Next we’ll cut and construct the garments, using various elastics and machine stitches with tips on how to get the best results out of stretch materials.
Some fabrics will be provided, but please do bring any awesome fabrics you find. Sturdier, thicker t-shirt fabric will be easiest for the beginner to work with, but anything that feels like knickers to you will be fine. All elastics and tools provided.
