Sheffield Crochet Festival 2020
Building on the success of the 2019 crochet festival we are happy to announce that the 2020 event will be bigger and even better than last time. Get your tickets and start looking forward to all things crochet!
The day will include many crochet related activities and opportunities for Sheffields growing community of crochet and yarn enthusiasts.
There will be demonstrations including hand dying and “reading” a hand dyed yarn. Holly Hagg Alpaca farm will be demonstrating and letting you have a go at spinning. There will be several workshops including miniature crochet bags with volger Sara of Octopudding. We will enjoy as series of talks on yarn and crochet including the team from The Wool Monty. Independent local yarn stalls will offer you a range of unique products including The Yarn Badger, Peak District Yarns, Shunklies and Fruitful Fusions.
Bring a crochet blanket to show in our friendly competition and your hook to take part in activities. Take part in the yarn swap and enjoy a day of idea swapping and chat with like minded hookers!
The event will be held at Hagglers Corner so you may enjoy the lovely a café and bar throughout the day.
