Mosaic Weekend

Description

Have a go at creating beautiful artwork from broken tiles. This two day course will cover the basics of mosaic design and construction in the context of a wall-hanging piece, though the techniques are applicable to many situations. We will cover various tile cutting techniques, using adhesives and grouting the finished piece, plus finishing edges and adding hanging hardware. All materials are included but feel free to bring along any tiles you may want to use.

The workshop is led by our experienced tutor and artist Grace. You are sureto pick up lots of useful tips as well as enjoying a friendly day of creating and plenty of hot drinks and biscuits.
