What do I need to bring?
An information sheet will be sent out before each workshop giving you more information and letting you know what you need to bring to the workshop.

What about health and safety and insurance?
Running With Scissors takes your (and our) Health and Safety seriously. If potentially hazardous equipment or materials are used in the workshop we will always let you know in advance. Running With Scissors is covered by public liability insurance.

How many people go to the workshop?
It depends on the type of workshop but we aim to give you space and limit the numbers to give you a quality teaching experience.

Do Running with Scissors offer Special Parties?
Yes, we run private craft parties, crafty hen nights (or afternoons), craft sessions at lunchtime at your office …. and lots more. See our Parties and Events Page for more information.

Where can I buy fabric and craft equipment in Sheffield?
We get asked this question a lot so we have put together a list of places we are aware of. Its a work in progress so if there are other places you want to add please let us know. You can download the document here.

How can I pay for my workshop booking?
Workshops can be paid for by Paypal (you can link your Paypal account to your debt / credit card), by bank transfer (BACS), or by cheque.

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Information is available on our Gift Vouchers Page.

Can I bring along a friend or my child?
Sorry this is not possible. Workshops are only for those people who have booked places.

Can you teach me how to make…?
It may be possible! Send us an e-mail and we might consider running a workshop.

Do you offer weekday workshops?
Running with Scissors has lots of other things to do in the week but we may be looking at running weekday workshops in the future.

Do you offer children’s workshops?
Hopefully in the near future, check the workshops page to see if we have any planned.

Are you hiring tutors?
We are always interested in specialist tutors who would like to teach workshops. Please e-mail us and let us know about your particular craft, your teaching experience (if any) and some nice photos of your work.
